No Blarney Irish Coffee
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 tablespoon package hot cocoa mix
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla and almond extract mixture
- 6 ounces fresh brewed coffee
- 1/2 ounce Irish whiskey
Step 1-Brew Coffee
Brew a pot of your favorite coffee. We found a good French roast added to the overall richness of the beverage.
Step 2-Whip the cream
Pour the whipping cream into a chilled bowl. When the cream begins to thicken, slowly add the hot cocoa mix-just a dusting at a time. When cream is thicken, slowly add the extract mixture.
Step 3-Make the No Blarney Irish Coffee
Pour the Irish whiskey into a warmed mug. Add the coffee and a dollop of the whipped cream. Dust the top of the drink with hot cocoa mix
